Welcome to My Piano Prodigy!

We would like to take a moment to introduce our staff:

Heather Hall, Director and Advanced Piano Instructor

Born and raised in Raymond, Alberta, Ms Heather studied under a number of teachers and progressed through the Royal Conservatory of Music program (known in the USA as the National Music Certificate Program).  She has always loved to play the piano, and was often asked to STOP practicing by her family!

She received a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she studied with Dr. Douglas Humpherys and Dr. Paul Pollei.  Ms Heather then moved to Norman, Oklahoma where she studied with Dr. Jane Magrath and Dr. E.L. Lancaster, receiving a Master’s of Music in Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma in May 1996.

While continuing to teach, Ms Heather then worked for America Online for three years, waiting for the right time to move to the Denver area and open her permanent piano studio.  The Heather Hall Piano Studio was opened in June 1999 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.  The studio was relocated to Erie in February 2005, and the name was changed to My Piano Prodigy in August 2009.

Zach Stailey, Advanced Piano Instructor

Mr Zach grew up in southern New Mexico, and has played the piano for over 20 years. He took over his mom’s piano studio when she retired a number of years ago.  He received an Associate of Music from Arapahoe Community College, and is currently working toward a Bachelor of Music at Metro State University in Denver, where he studies Voice.  Zach is a member of the Boulder chapter of the Music Teachers National Association, and has been teaching at My Piano Prodigy since August 2009.

Jen Adducci, Advanced Piano Instructor

Ms. Jen studies Piano at Metro State University in Denver, and has been teaching at My Piano Prodigy since November 2011.

Chelsea Lovato, Associate Piano Instructor

Ms Chelsea began studying with Ms Heather as one of our first students when we relocated to Erie in 2004.  She is currently a Junior at Erie High School, and recently completed her grade 7 exam with the Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program (formerly called the National Certificate Program).  Chelsea has been working for My Piano Prodigy as a lab assistant since 2009, and has been teaching at My Piano Prodigy since August 2011.
